Piggybanc®: The Smart, Secure Way for Kids to Save

We offer Youth Accounts for two age groups, ages 6-12 and 13-17.

Youth Account (Ages 6-12):

  • Free Membership to Centsables, a web-based Money Management program.
  • Invitations to age-appropriate seminars

Note: Must be eligible for membership to join San Francisco Federal Credit Union. To open a youth account, please bring the following forms of identifications: for the adult (valid ID), for the child (birth certificate, passport, Student ID or social security card). $5 membership fee and $5 in youth savings account required.

PiggyBanc®: The smart, secure way for kids to save.

PiggyBanc® is an exciting, safe and fresh approach to getting children on the right financial track early. Through PiggyBanc.com, you can fund a child’s savings account with just a few simple keystrokes. Friends, family, and relatives can contribute to their account any time of the day. Best of all, the PiggyBanc membership will teach your children about the importance of a savings program and strategy. Learn more.

EXTRA! EXTRA! Want to Earn $50 for Your Account?

It’s simple! Refer a youth organization to San Francisco Federal Credit Union. If we do a financial education workshop through your referral, we will deposit $50 into your Youth Account. All you have to do is provide us with three things:

1) Organization’s name
2) Name of contact person
3) E-mail address or telephone number of contact person

From there, we’ll schedule the workshop and handle the rest. So spread the word today about how San Francisco Federal Credit Union can provide financial education to an organization of your choice! E-mail us at Business_Development@SanFranciscoFCU.com.

Offer good until 10/31/2010. Workshops must be completed prior to expiration date of 10/31/2010. Upon completion of the workshop, $50 will be deposited into a San Francisco FCU youth account. If youth isn't a member, we will waive membership fee of $5 when they open a youth acount.
