E-Commerce Administrator
VP/Strategic Development
Level 20
Responsible for the ongoing planning, maintenance, and development of San Francisco Federal Credit Union’s (SFFCU) Internet and online banking channels. Manage projects in relation to E-Commerce activities encompassing the full web based interaction of our members and potential members with our products and services.
Program Management 40%
- Efficiently execute the E-Commerce strategy of SFFCU to exceed member’s expectations.
- Design, maintain and manage content on all web channels to ensure timely and accurate information is being presented.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Information Technology, Marketing, Financial Services, and the Senior Leadership Team in the execution of E-Commerce initiatives.
- Manage external vendor relationships to ensure service, and value are maintained.
- Plan and manage the implementation of complex E-Commerce projects ensuring proper execution and a high level of follow through within budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure SFFCU’s E-Commerce systems, processes and procedures are compliant with various laws, compliance guidance, and security standards that are established.
- Oversee the development, performance and member engagement of SFFCU’s E-commerce delivery channel.
- Originate and write functional specifications, project plans, and business requirement documents.
- Develop and implement strategies and plans to increase the usage of SFFCU’s E-commerce offerings.
- Manage adherence to quality assurance standards in relation to E-Commerce to ensure system performance levels are met.
- Interface with staff to better integrate SFFCU’s electronic channels within the organization via education and training.
- Prepare management reports detailing the activities and performance of SFFCU E-Commerce Program.
- Communicate program status through monthly Individual Dialog meetings
- Monitor our presence on social media channels and make recommendations
E-Commerce Maintenance 40%
- Design and maintain SFFCU’s website as directed maintaining the consistency of SFFCU’s brand presence in the E-Commerce channel.
- Oversee and implement changes to website content to support current organizational initiatives.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure effective communication of current product promotions and initiatives on websites.
- Oversee the purchase and maintenance corporate URLs.
- Monitor and research web industry technology trends, and standards and recommend new technologies to management.
- Create and edit images using Photoshop or similar applications.
- Execute coding changes as necessary to update and add web content to SFFCU’s websites.
E-Commerce Support 10%
- Serve as a technical resource to SFFCU staff in regards to E-Commerce and web technologies.
- Review systems reliability to ensure proper maintenance standards are met.
- Evaluate, repair or employ third party services to remediate technology related problems.
- Respond to high priority phone and e-mail requests for E-Commerce assistance.
- Provides exceptional service to all Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
E-Commerce Development 10%
- Evaluate new technologies relating to E-Commerce functions and provide recommendations to management.
- Draft technology plans and requirements for business needs.
- Respond to audit items and remediate items as presented.
- Evaluate and analyze new and existing functionality to better serve the Credit Union’s needs.
- Actively participate in defining the strategic direction of SFFCU’s E-Commerce services.
- Participate and support new product development and collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and launch supporting enhancements to the web channel.
- Knowledgeable of web design, e-Commerce security, and best practices within the banking industry
- Advanced knowledge of E-Commerce systems, hardware and software in relation to financial institution websites and banking.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methods and procedures.
- Proficiency in website design, HTML and variants and JavaScript development.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong ability to interact and communicate with internal and external stakeholders as well as members.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline or closely related field.
4-5 years experience in an E-Commerce department or similar field.
Work Hours may be scheduled Monday through Saturday.
