HOW TO
USE/LOG ON TO BILL PAYER
To use Bill Payer, simply log on to Online Banking, click on “Pay
Bills”, then read a description about Bill Payer. After reading
the description, click on “continue to next disclosure”
and read the disclosure. Select the checking account that will be
linked to your Bill Payer account. Then, click on “Activate

HOW TO CANCEL BILL PAYER SERVICE
Click on the "Bank Online"
button then click on "Pay Bills" button located at the
top of the page. Select "Additional Functions" followed
by "Stop Bill Service." WARNING: By selecting "Stop
Bill Pay service", you will delete all your merchant information
you have entered, all history, and will cancel all scheduled payments.
If you decide to use the service again a few months later, you will
have to setup your merchant payee information again.
HOW DO I
ADD A PAYEE
Click “Add a Payee” and enter the name of the merchant
or payee you wish to pay. Choose between manual or automatic payments.
Then, visit Bill Payer, day or night, to schedule a payment, change
a payment, update information, view your payment history, and more.

IS THERE A
FEE TO USE THIS SERVICE?
There is no activation fee nor is there any fee for using online Bill
Payer. However, there is the possibility of an inactivity fee of
$2.95 per month. This fee will only be charged monthly when you have
not paid at least one bill using online Bill Payer for two or more
consecutive months. This fee will continue to be charged until you
either use Bill Payer again or cancel the Bill Payer service. The fee
will be automatically deducted from your Credit Union Checking Account.
All other general checking account fees apply to Bill Payer. Please refer
to the Truth-In-Savings Disclosure for details about fees applicable to
Bill Payer.
IS IT SAFE TO USE?
Yes. San Francisco Federal Credit Union has chosen web browsers
that are capable of conducting a secure session with an SSL(Secure
Sockets Layer)-enabled web server. This means that data being transmitted
between your computer and our server are scrambled. Even if the
transmission is tapped, the eavesdropper will not see any meaningful
data. When the data finally arrives at our server, the data is then
unscrambled.
WHY DOES MY “CONNECTION EXPIRE”?
As a safety measure, the "Bill Payer" system will automatically
log you off after 15 minutes of inactivity.
