Benefits
We offer a wide range of employee benefits to include the following:
401(k) Retirement Plan
We care about the financial future of our employees. That is why we offer a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer contribution of 3%. We also offer our employees an annual profit-sharing plan of up to 5% of compensation which is placed in their 40l(k) account.
Bonus Plan
When the credit union performs well, we know it is the result of our team working hard to make positive contributions. At San Francisco Federal Credit Union, everyone is eligible to receive an annual incentive bonus up to 12%.
Commuter Subsidy
We understand that in the Bay Area, employees have many transportation options. So whether it’s by car, BART, train, bike, or a nice walk, we provide a $100 monthly commuter subsidy if a parking space is not required or available.
Discounts
We support life dreams and want our employees to be able to borrow affordably. We offer free credit union membership with mortgage loan rate discounts of 1.50% off the qualifying rate and consumer loans and HELOCs with 2% discount off the qualifying rates.
Health Benefits
We’ve got our employees back! Premiums on health benefits can be costly and because we understand the importance of staying healthy, the credit union covers a portion of employee premiums including medical, dental, and vision.
Insurance
Sometimes life throws us curve balls and to ensure we can support our employees, we offer life and accidental death insurance up to $300,000 as well as long-term disability.
Paid Time Off
We want our employees to take time off to relax and refresh. All new employees accrue 19 days of paid time off (PTO) a year which can increase through years of service. In addition, the Credit Union observes 10 holidays annually in which the organization is closed and team members can enjoy time off with their loved ones.
Tuition Reimbursement
We value higher education and improved skills. Employees can receive tuition reimbursement of up to $2,000 a year.
