Melissa is an accomplished lending professional with extensive experience in banking and credit unions. She excels in strategic planning, lending portfolio management, and revenue growth, leveraging expertise in digital platforms, project management, and relationship building. Michael Lopez joined the Credit Union as a Board Member in March 2022. His career has evolved through three different professional environments: Traditional large corporate organizations, entrepreneurial start-ups (including two successful self-initiated start-ups), and consulting. Michael joins the Board of Directors as part of the merger with MyCU, where he was a board member.

Patrick Michael Cox has been a member of the Board of Directors for San Francisco Federal Credit Union since 2013. His father, Frank, was one of the original founders of the Credit Union. Patrick began his career at Wang Laboratories, ultimately serving as Field Service Manager, overseeing more than 40 engineers from Portland to Hawaii. He left Wang after 15 years to join the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department as Manager of Information Systems; today, he is the IT Director for the department.

Peter Minford joined the Credit Union in 2024.  A seasoned professional with over 20 years experience as a CFO, and 40 years of leadership experience in financial services.  Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Florida State University, an MBA from the University of South Florida and a diploma from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Ray Shams joined the Credit Union in 2017, bringing over 30 years of lending and risk management experience. Ray holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of La Verne.

Richard Frattarelli joined the Credit Union as a volunteer in 2019. He has worked in the public sector for nearly 30 years, currently as the Director of Human Resources for the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department. Prior to that role, Richard served as Assistant Human Resources Director of the San Francisco Airport. Before working for the City and County of San Francisco, Richard spent 24 years as an officer in the United States Coast Guard, serving in a myriad of assignments across the United States.

Steve Shead joined the Credit Union with over 20 years of executive experience in technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He has led enterprise IT operations, security strategy, and large-scale modernization initiatives. His leadership strengthens operational resilience, enhances security, and builds high-performing teams that support innovation and sustainable growth.

Susan Lansing brings global human resources experience across financial services, luxury, beauty, academia, and technology. She builds inclusive cultures that attract, develop, and retain top talent while driving performance. With a track record of leading HR transformations, she has boosted engagement, reduced turnover, and improved performance. Fluent in French, Susan is passionate about creating workplaces where people feel valued and empowered.

Susanne Miller is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 years of experience leading financial strategy, transformation, and performance across global institutions including Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Barclays, HSBC, and Redwood Credit Union. A CPA, she is recognized for driving financial transparency, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making.
