At San Francisco Federal Credit Union, we believe in the power of dreams, and in offering scholarship opportunities for San Francisco and San Mateo County students to help turn those dreams into reality.
Our 2025 Scholarship Program supports and celebrates the aspirations of our youth members, high school seniors who are ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
Scholarship Details:
- Award: Four scholarships of $2,500 each for local high school seniors
- Who Can Apply:
- Must be a member of San Francisco Federal Credit Union
- High school senior graduating in 2025
- Live, work, worship, or attend high school in San Francisco or San Mateo counties
- Scholarship Application Period: May 9 – June 30, 2025
- Final Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2025
How to Apply for a Scholarship:
- Complete the Online Application: Provide your personal and academic details using our secure online form for Bay Area high school scholarships.
- Respond to 10 Short Answer Questions: Share your goals, experiences, and ambitions in place of a long essay. Each response is limited to 250 characters and helps us understand your potential.
- Submit Supporting Materials: Upload your high school transcript and any optional documents that highlight your community service or academic success.
- Review and Submit: Make sure everything is accurate and turn in your full application by June 30, 2025.
Selection Criteria:
All applications for the 2025 San Francisco high school scholarship program will be evaluated based on:
- Authenticity and personal reflection
- Clear educational goals and future plans
- Leadership, volunteerism, and community impact
- Creative thinking and real-world problem-solving
- Academic achievement and extracurricular involvement
Important Scholarship Dates:
- May 9: Scholarship applications open
- June 30: Final deadline to submit your student scholarship application
- July 14: Scholarship recipients announced and invited to our celebratory event
